Congratulations to the Rams Varsity team for a great season! Although defeated by Belton H. S. in the 2nd round of the state playoffs, the Rams represented the school and district with pride. Great run this season - District champions and going into the 2nd round of playoffs! Best wishes for a successful summer season and looking forward to playoffs again next year.

Varsity wins! The Rams won a best of 3 game series against Garland Lakeview Patriots last week in the 1st round of Region 2 5A playoffs.
Up next in Round 2 is Belton High School. The first game is Thursday, May 13 in Belton beginning at 7:00 pm. Following game 1 will be a return to Ram field on Saturday, May 15 at 2:00 pm. Come out in full Ram pride to support the boys as they compete to defeat Belton. If a game 3 is necessary it will be played 30 minutes after game 2 at Ram field.
Bring all your Ram pride and family, friends, and supporters to cheer on the team as they move forward in the state baseball playoffs.

RAMS WIN 1st Round Playoffs v. Garland Lakeview !!!!!!!!
Rams took a one game lead on Friday night at Rams field defeating Lakeview 11-1 in a best of 3 game series. Pitching provided by Stephen Sprulin and great hitting by all.
Friday night the Rams went to Lakeview and lost a hard fought game 5-1. With the lost, the Rams played Saturday at Garland High School for the final game 3. Series tied at one game each - winner moves on to the second round next week. The Rams came to win and defeated the Lakeview Patriots 5-1!
Congrats to the Mighty Rams for defeating the Patriots and earning the right to play in round 2.
The Rams finish District 9-5A play as Co-Champions and headed to the playoffs. Good Luck in Round one beginning Thursday, May 6 at Ram ballfield beginning a 7:00pm. Come out and support the Ram baseball team to victory against the Lakeview Centennial Patriots.
JV Team finishes season with a convincing win over cross town rival the Richardson Eagles, 11- 1. The JV team completed their season after the final game was canceled due to rain. This placed the JV team in good standing in District 9-5A with 9 wins and 3 losses against District teams. Congratulations JV for a great season.

Coach Wilson has announced that Stephen Spurlin has given an oral committment to play baseball at Bossier Parish Junior College in Louisiana! Stephen has had an outstanding baseball career here at Berkner and I am extremely proud of how hard he has worked to have this opportunity! Stephen is a very talented baseball player! However, he is even a better kid! He is a class act and represents all of us at Berkner in a way that should make us all proud!

Place an order for the Berkner Baseball window decals and yard signs on Friday, February 26th. The cost is $9.50 for decals and $33 for yard signs. If you would like to order either or both please email Sharon Edmonds with the info you would like (Name, #, Varsity/JV), and get a check to me payable to Berkner Baseball Booster Club. This is different from how we have ordered in the past, but our vendor has requested we place one order only, instead of ordering direct.
